• Metal band Otep performs at In the Venue, 219 S. 600 West, Salt Lake City. Show starts at 6:30. Tickets are $14.50, at Smith’s Tix.
• English singer-songwriter Marcus Foster performs at The State Room, 638 S. State St., Salt Lake City. Opening act: Ruston Kelly. Show starts at 8. Tickets are $13, at the venue’s website (and there’s a VIP package available for $60).
• Canadian synthpop group Trust performs at The Urban Lounge, 241 S. 500 East, Salt Lake City. Opening act: Eraas. Show starts at 9. Tickets are $8, at 24Tix.
