• Rhythm & Hues, the visual-effects house that is an Oscar favorite for creating the tiger Richard Parker in "Life of Pi," has declared Chapter 11 bankruptcy. [The Hollywood Reporter]
• Legendary record executive Clive Davis is releasing his memoir, The Soundtrack of My Life, which (among other things) publicly discloses his bisexuality. [Entertainment Weekly]
• British actor Richard Briers, who appeared in nearly every Kenneth Branagh-directed movie (notably as Polonius in "Hamlet") and starred as the suburban farmer Tom Good on the beloved ‘70s British sitcom "The Good Life" (aka "Good Neighbors"), died Sunday at the age of 79. [The Guardian]
