• The 2013 Sundance Film Festival kicks off tonight, with five screenings in Park City — the drama "May in the Summer" and the documentary "Twenty Feet From Stardom" at the Eccles Theatre; the documentary "Who is Dayani Cristal?" and the drama "Crystal Fairy" at the MARC Theatre; and a shorts program at the Egyptian Theatre. • Salt Lake native and Brooklyn-based electronica singer-songwriter Erin Barra headlines a "singer-songwriters in the round" show at The State Room, 638 S. State St., Salt Lake City.
