• University of Utah professor Neil Vickers will talk about odors in "Smells: Picking Insect Noses," this month’s "Science Night Live" discussion at Keys on Main, 242 S. Main St., Salt Lake City. Social hour starts at 5:30, lecture starts at 6. Free (must be 21 or older to attend).
• Comedian Robin Williams makes a "sit-down" appearance with fellow comic David Steinberg, at Kingsbury Hall, 1395 E. Presidents Circle, University of Utah campus, Salt Lake City. Show starts at 7:30. Tickets, at $80 and $150, available at the Kingsbury website.
