Plans for tonight: Broken Lizard duo at Wiseguys

• Kevin Heffernan and Steve Lemme, two of the members of the Broken Lizard comedy troupe (famous for the movies "Super Troopers" and "Beerfest"), perform three nights of stand-up starting tonight, at Wiseguys Comedy Club, 2194 W. 3500 South, West Valley City. Tonight’s show is at 7:30, and the duo performs at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Tickets are $20, at the Wiseguys website.

The Organ Loft presents the 1929 German silent drama "The White Hell of Pitz Palu" (starring Leni Riefenstahl, who went on to become the Nazis’ favorite documentary filmmaker), tonight and Friday at the Edison Street Event Center, 3331 S. Edison St., South Salt Lake City. Blaine Gale accompanies on the mighty Wurlitzer organ. Shows start at 7:30 p.m. both nights. Admission is $6; $5 for children; call 801-485-9265 for reservations.
