• There are only three more days to catch Ballet West’s acclaimed production of "The Nutcracker," at the Capitol Theatre, 50 W. 200 South. Shows ar at 2 and 7 p.m. today, Friday and Saturday. Tickets available at ArtTix.
• Comedian Jay Reid begins a five-night run at Wiseguys Comedy Club at Trolley Square, 505 S. 600 East, Salt Lake City. Tonight’s show is at 7:30 p.m. (and repeats at 7:30 p.m. through Monday, with 9:30 p.m. shows on Friday, Saturday and Monday). Tickets are $12, at the Wiseguys website.
