• The Screen Actors Guild has named the nominees for its annual end-of-year awards — with "Lincoln" and "Silver Linings Playbook" leading among movies with four nominations each. [The Hollywood Reporter]
• Dave Hester, the veteran consignment dealer who was recently fired from A&E’s popular reality series "Storage Wars," is suing the network — claiming the show’s producers fraudulently planted valuable items in the auctioned-off lockers, [Entertainment Weekly]
• Legendary Indian musician Ravi Shankar, who taught George Harrison how to play the sitar, has died at the age of 92. (People too young to remember Shankar’s work with The Beatles will know him as Norah Jones’ dad.) [CNN]
