Plans for tonight: Clippers, carols and ‘Poison’

• The Utah Jazz play host to the Los Angeles Clippers, at EnergySolutions Arena, 301 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City. Game starts at 7. Tickets available at Smith’s Tix.

• A screening of Todd Haynes’ landmark 1991 "queer cinema" drama "Poison" happens at the Tower Theatre, 876 E. 900 South, Salt Lake City. Part of the Westminster College "Ivory Tower" film series. Show starts at 7. Free.

Utah Chamber Artists perform carols by Alfred Burt, Abbie Burt Betinis and Barlow Bradford, at the Libby Gardner Concert Hall, 1375 E. Presidents Circle, University of Utah campus, Salt Lake City. Show starts at 7:30. Tickets are $!5, or $10 for students, at the Kingsbury website.
