Here’s what’s happening today in pop culture:
• Kevin Clash, the puppeteer who gave voice to Elmo, has resigned from Sesame Workshop, which in a statement said "the controversy surrounding Kevin’s personal life has become a distraction that none of us want, and he has concluded that he can no longer be effective in his job." Other puppeteers are expected take over the duties of performing Elmo. [New York Times]
• Jackie Chan says he’s done with action movies after his current one, "Chinese Zodiac 2012," is finished. [Reuters, via Chicago Tribune]
• Lindsay Lohan’s probation for a jewelry theft conviction could be revoked, after she lied to a cop about who was driving her Porsche when it crashed in June. [TMZ]
