Here’s what’s happening today in pop culture – you know, besides the election:
• "Man of Steel," next year’s "Superman" reboot directed by Zack Snyder, will be converted to 3-D. It’s like kryptonite for Hollywood marketing departments — they’re helpless to resist. [The Hollywood Reporter]
• One person was killed and 19 injured when a scaffolding collapsed outside a Linkin Park concert in Cape Town, South Africa. [Entertainment Weekly]
• Alexa Vega is a long way from "Spy Kids," and is proud of it: She tweeted to the world a photo of herself — in teeny bikini, chaps and a machine gun — from next year’s movie "Machete Kills." [Instagram, via The Huffington Post]
