Obama's victory: The view from Utah Democrats' party

This is what it looked like in the Salt Lake Sheraton hotel, among a happy crowd of Utah Democrats, the moment the news channels declared Barack Obama had been re-elected president of the United States.

The cheering, a joyful roar, went on for several minutes.

And, no matter what side you support, I think we can all be happy that Florida had absolutely no effect on the outcome.
