Here's what's happening today in pop culture:

• George Lucas, flush with $4.05 billion dollars earned selling LucasFilm to Disney, says he wants to make his "own little personal films." This raises the question: What stopped him from doing that before? [Entertainment Weekly]

• "Wreck-It Ralph" racked up plenty of extra lives at the weekend box office, topping the chart at $49.1 million — the best opening ever for a Disney Animation film. [Box Office Mojo]

• John Cusack is developing a biopic of radio blowhard Rush Limbaugh — with Cusack portraying Limbaugh. Please, God, no sex scenes. [The Hollywood Reporter]
