Here’s what’s happening today in pop culture:
• It’s the "Weekend Update" reunion of our dreams: Tina Fey ("30 Rock") and Amy Poehler ("Parks & Recreation") will host the Golden Globes next January. [Washington Post]
• And, on the other end of the pop-culture intelligence spectrum, a report says that Khloe Kardashian and Mario Lopez will host "The X Factor." [The Hollywood Reporter]
• Jimmy Kimmel interviewed Alana and June Thompson, alias Honey Boo Boo and Mama, and lived to tell about it. [Entertainment Weekly]
