Garbage performs tonight at In The Venue.
Plans for tonight: Garbage arrives, at last

• British pop-rock band Garbage performs tonight at In the Venue, 219 S. 600 West, Salt Lake City. (This show was rescheduled from late April.) Show starts at 7. Tickets are $35, at Smith’s Tix and 24Tix.

• Electro-pop band Metric performs at The Depot, 400 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City. Opening act: Half Moon Run. Show starts at 8. Tickets are $31, at Smith’s Tix.

• Utah musician Rich Wyman celebrates the release of his new CD with a bunch of friends, tonight at The State Room, 638 S. State St., Salt Lake City. Show starts at 9. Tickets are $12, at the venue’s website.

• Rapper Eligh (of Living Legends) performs Saturday at In the Venue, 219 S. 600 West, Salt Lake City. Show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $13 in advance, $16 on the day of the show, available at Smith’s Tix.

• Indie singer-songwriter Aimee Mann performs Saturday and Sunday at The State Room, 638 S. State St., Salt Lake City. Opening act: Field Report. Shows start at 9 p.m. Saturday and 8 p.m. Sunday. Saturday’s show is sold out, but tickets for Sunday’s show are $35, at the venue’s website.

• Ohio rock band Foxy Shazam performs Saturday at The Urban Lounge, 241 S. 500 East, Salt Lake City. Opening act: Spirit Master. Show starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are $13 in advance, $15 on the day of the show, available at 24Tix.

The Corin Tucker Band, led by a former member of Sleater-Kinney, performs Sunday at The Urban Lounge, 241 S. 500 East, Salt Lake City. Opening act: Swedish Fish. Show starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are $10, at 24Tix.
