Plans for tonight: Troubled Coast arrives

• Post-hardcore band Troubled Coast performs at In the Venue, 219 S. 600 West, Salt Lake City. Opening act: My Iron Lung. Show starts at 6:30. Tickets are $10, at Smith’s Tix.

Maus Haus, a crunk/dub band (and if you don’t know what that is, you probably shouldn’t go), performs at Kilby Court, 741 S. Kilby Court (330 West), Salt Lake City. Opening acts: North Country, The New Electric Sound with Tom Brinton. Show starts at 7. Tickets are $7, at 24Tix.

Repertory Dance Theater’s fall opener, "Embark," debuts at the Jeanné Wagner Theatre, 138 W. 300 South, Salt Lake City. The show starts at 7:30 (and repeats Friday and Saturday). Tickets for tonight’s show are $20, at ArtTix. (Tickets to Friday and Saturday’s shows are $30 each.)
