Here’s what’s being talked about today in pop culture:
• Folks stood in line this morning to buy Apple’s new iPhone 5. They might be careful using the Apple Maps feature, though. [The Salt Lake Tribune, The Huffington Post]
• Games movie studios play: Fox Searchlight has dropped "Hitchcock," a biopic of the famous director (played by Anthony Hopkins) during the making of "Psycho," into the holiday release schedule just in time for Oscar season; while Warner Bros. has decided that "The Great Gatsby," Baz Luhrmann’s lush telling of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic novel starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Carey Mulligan (and originally set for a Christmas release), will land in North America on May 10, wedged between "Iron Man" and "Star Trek" sequels.
