• Are Democrats more excited about their convention than Republicans? Or just better wired to the Internet? To wit: Michelle Obama’s speech on Tuesday night drew 28,003 tweets per minute, at peak -- nearly double what Mitt Romney’s speech last week did. [@TwitterForNews]

• CBS aired a 40th anniversary special episode of "The Price Is Right" on Tuesday -- but didn’t invite Bob Barker, the show’s host for 35 years, to take part. Barker says it’s because he’s been vocal in protesting the show’s use of prizes (like trips to SeaWorld and the Calgary Stampede) that offend his animal-rights views. [AP]
