• Filmmaker Tony Scott committed suicide Sunday, jumping off a bridge over Los Angeles Harbor. He was 68. Scott was famous for big, energetic action movies, including "Top Gun," "Days of Thunder," "True Romance," "Crimson Tide," "Man on Fire" and "Unstoppable." [Los Angeles Times]
