• A screening of the documentary "Knuckleball!," examining the strange pitch and the few Major League players who still throw it, happens at the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center, 138 W. 300 South, Salt Lake City. Co-director Ricki Stern (who made the film with Annie Sundberg) will take part in a post-show interview via Skype with "Radio West" host Doug Fabrizio. Presented by "Radio West" and the Utah Film Center. Free.
• Iron & Wine, a k a singer-songwriter Sam Beam, headlines this week's Twilight Concert Series show, at Pioneer Park, 300 West and 300 South, Salt Lake City. Opening act: Kathleen Edwards. Show starts at 7; gates and Twilight Market open at 5 p.m. Tickets are $5, at the gates.
• Seattle rap act Grieves & Budo performs at Kilby Court, 741 S. Kilby Court (330 West), Salt Lake City. Opening acts: Intuition, Dopethought. Show starts at 7. Tickets are $15, at 24Tix.
