In this space Wednesday, The Cricket told you about Devo's contribution to the political season: A song immortalizing Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney's infamous car trip to Canada, which the family Irish setter Seamus spent riding in a kennel strapped to the roof.
Well, the wait is over. The song, "Don't Roof Rack Me, Bro! (Seamus Unleashed)," can be heard in its entirety (all three minutes, 10 seconds of it) on Rolling Stone's website.
No surprise, the song takes a few digs at Romney. One lyric goes: "Seamus, Seamus, please come back / your master pigged out on super PACs / If he was honest and told the truth / he'd go to jail for what he did to you."
What is surprising is that the song is actually quite catchy, listenable and danceable.
