Plans for tonight: Band of Horses at Twilight

• Rock band Band of Horses is this week's headliner for the Twilight Concert Series, at Pioneer Park, 300 West and 300 South, Salt Lake City. Opening act: Lower Dens. Show starts at 7; gates and Twilight Market open at 5. Tickets are $5, at the gates.
• Folk/country singer-songwriter Mary Chapin Carpenter performs at Ed Kenley Centennial Amphitheater, 405 N. Wasatch Drive, Layton. Show starts at 7:30. Tickets, from $26 to $49, available at the Davis Arts Council website.
