Plans for tonight: Last call with LCD Soundsystem

• A one-night only screening of "Shut Up and Play the Hits," a documentary/concert film about LCD Soundsystem's final performance, happens at the Tower Theatre, 876 E. 900 South, Salt Lake City. Show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $8.75, at the Tower box office.

• Seattle psychedelic band Beat Connection performs at Kilby Court, 741 S. Kilby Court (330 West), Salt Lake City. Opening acts: White Arrows, Teen Daze. Show starts at 7. Tickets are $8, at 24Tix.
