• Pop-rock band Motion City Soundtrack performs at In the Venue (a k a Club Sound), 219 S. 600 West, Salt Lake City. Opening acts: The Henry Clay People, The Front Bottoms. Show starts at 7. Tickets are $22, at Smith's Tix and 24Tix.
• Space rock band The Life and Times performs at The Urban Lounge, 241 S. 500 East, Salt Lake City. Opening act: Ume. Show starts at 9. Tickets are $8, at 24Tix.
