• Wolf Blitzer takes down Donald Trump over his continued comments about President Obama's birth certificate. Here's a question: Why hasn't Mitt Romney paid any poliitcal price for surrogates like Trump, when Obama gets nailed for every Hilary Rosen or Cory Booker comment? [The Huffington Post]

• Doc Watson, the blind guitar master who revolutionized folk, bluegrass and country music and influenced a generation of guitarists, has died at the age of 89. [The New York Times]
