The Cricket's Daily 3: May the Fourth be with you
Published on May 4, 2012 09:24AM
Here's what's happening today in pop culture:
• Happy International Star Wars Day! (Why today? Check the date: May the Fourth - as in "May the Fourth be with you.") Apparently it will be celebrated by watching "The Avengers." [Moviefone]
• Samuel L. Jackson (who, speaking of "Star Wars," played a Jedi in the prequels) starts a Twitter dust-up by tweeting his anger at The New York Times' film critic A.O. Scott over the latter's review of "The Avengers." [E! Online]
• Elsewhere on Twitter, Demi Moore changed her Twitter handle, from @mrskutcher to @justdemi, to reflect her non-married status. [New York Daily News]
