• The Grand Kerfuffle, the University of Utah's big outdoor concert, happens outside the Olpin Student Union, 200 S. Central Campus Drive, on the U. campus, Salt Lake City. Hip-hop star Wiz Khalifa is the headliner. Show starts at 5:30 p.m. The show is sold out.
• The all-female singing extravaganza Celtic Woman performs at EnergySolution Arena, 301 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City. Show starts at 8. Tickets, from $39 to $69, available at Smith's Tix.
• New Zealand electro-pop band The Naked and Famous performs at The Depot, 400 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City. Opening act: Vacationer. Show starts at 8. Tickets are $20, at Smith's Tix.
• Singer-songwriter Ingrid Michaelson performs at In the Venue, 219 S. 600 West, Salt Lake City. Opening act: Harper Blynn. Show starts at 8. The show is sold out.
