Marie Osmond: "I don't do politics"
Published on Apr 17, 2012 09:44AM
Not every celebrity wants to get involved in politics. In the case of Marie Osmond, she'd go to extremes to avoid it.
While taking part in Washington's Cherry Blossom Festival this weekend, Osmond was asked by the right-wing website The Daily Caller whether she would endorse Republican candidate (and fellow Mormon) Mitt Romney or President Barack Obama in the November election.
Osmond's cheery response: "No, I think I’d rather have food poisoning. I don’t do politics, thank you, but you can vote for me."
