Plans for tonight: Neon Indian at Urban Lounge

• The monthly "Science Movie Night" brings Werner Herzog's documentary "Cave of Forgotten Dreams," at the City Library auditorium, 210 E. 400 South, Salt Lake City. Photographer/archaeologist/museum curator Laurel Casjens will discuss Utah's native rock art after the screening. The screening starts at 6:30. Free.
• Infamous metal band GWAR plays Saltair, 12408 W. Saltair Drive, Magna. Opening acts: Municipal Waste, Ghoul, Legacy of Disorder. Show starts at 7:30. Tickets are $22, at Smith's Tix.
• Indie electronic band Neon Indian performs at The Urban Lounge, 241 S. 500 East, Salt Lake City. Opening act: Friends. Show starts at 9. Tickets are $15, at 24Tix.
