Bear leads Jazz fans in Silly String fight

Monday night's Utah Jazz/San Antonio Spurs game may not have been great from a Spurs' fan's standpoint (the Jazz won 91-84) - but the San Antonio Express-News's Spurs beat writer, Tim Griffin, was amused by what happened in the stands just before the fourth quarter.
Griffin chronicled a Silly String fight in one section of EnergySolutions Arena, instigated by Bear, the Jazz' crowd-pumping mascot, who reportedly distributed 300 cans of the stuff -- leaving hundreds of Jazz fans covered in the foamy filaments.
"Whether it helped spur the Jazz’s comeback victory, we’ll never know," Griffin wrote on his "Spurs Nation" blog. "But it sure made for a sticky mess for the cleaning crew in the arena after the game."
