Donny Osmond suffering from 'vocal fatigue'

Don't expect to hear the golden voice of Donny Osmond anytime soon. Doctor's orders.

Osmond, 53, is suffering from "vocal fatigue," and has been told by his doctor not to perform until further notice, according to Las Vegas Weekly writer John Katsilometes.

Donny's sister Marie, his singing partner in their headlining show at The Flamingo in Las Vegas, will go on with a substitute: Singer and record producer Shane Baker.

The note from the doctor also gets Donny out of a performance of "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" that was scheduled to be broadcast live to movie theaters nationwide tonight. That event has been postponed until Osmond is feeling better.
