• A free screening of the documentary "Miss Representation," which examines how the media depicts women in power, happens at The Grand Theatre at Salt Lake Community College’s South City Campus, 1575 S. State St., Salt Lake City. Show starts at 6. Tickets are free, available at the Grand's event website.
• The Ugandan Orphans Choir, a group of 10 children ages 8 to 14, performs at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center, 1355 W. 3100 South, West Valley City. Show starts at 7. Free.
• The Kenny Barron Quintet, fronted by jazz pianist Kenny Barron, performs at the Capitol Theatre, 50 W. 200 South, Salt Lake City. Presented as part of the JazzSLC series. Show starts at 7:30. Tickets are $25, at ArtTix.
