The Cricket: How bad was the Oscar ceremony?

Here's what's happening today in pop culture:
• It's the morning after Oscar night -- so still plenty of time to talk around the water cooler about the night's biggest non-surprise: How awful the ceremony was. [Vulture]
• But the ratings for the Oscar ceremony were better than they were last year. [Variety]
• And over the weekend, the nominees for the Razzies, given to Hollywood's worst, were announced -- and Adam Sandler, having two movies in contention, scored a record 11 nominations. [The Guardian]
