Here’s what’s happening today in pop culture:
• "The Girl Who Played With Fire," the sequel to "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo," is still in the works -- in spite of so-so box-office results for the first film. [Entertainment Weekly]
• Fencing master and movie fight choreographer Bob Anderson -- who wielded Darth Vader’s lightsaber in "The Empire Strikes Back" and "Return of the Jedi," and worked in such films as "From Russia With Love" and "The Lord of the Rings" -- has died at the agae of 89. [USA Today]
• Example No. 1 that the Mayans end-of-the-world prediction can’t come soon enough: A fourth "Paranormal Activity" film is in the works for 2012. [The Hollywood Reporter]
