Las Vegas' guitar-maker to the stars has died.
Ed Roman, whose custom-made guitars were played by classic rockers and country stars alike, died Dec. 14 at his Las Vegas home, the Associated Press reported late last week.
In his early years, Roman made guitars for such rockers as Ted Nugent, Eric Burdon (The Animals) and Jon Entwistle (The Who). After moving to Vegas in 2000, he made guitars for acts performing there -- including Marie Osmond and Keith Urban.
