• The 27th annual Christmas Carole Sing-Along, a favorite event of the late Larry H. Miller, happens at EnergySolutions Arena, 301 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City. Robert C. Bowden conducts the Generations of Sound orchestra, and guest singer Alex Boyé performs. Freebies include tickets to a Salt Lake Bees game, and coupons for Miller Motorsports Park, Fanzz and the Megaplex Theatres. The event is free.
• Utah's favorite elf, David Archuleta, brings his "My Kind of Christmas" tour home to Abravanel Hall, 123 W. South Temple, Salt Lake City. Opening act: Jeff LeBlanc. Show starts at 8. Tickets are $35, at ArtTix.
