You never know who you might see at the Utah State Fair.

A few people in the poultry building were surprised Wednesday to see Thomas S. Monson, president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, make an unannounced visit.

President Monson had a friendly chat with a couple of pigeon breeders, while visitors (and there weren't very many at the time) delighted in recognizing the church leader in an unexpected setting.
