After winning an ESPY and becoming the namesake for a horse, Jimmer Fredette has another accomplishment to his list: Being immortalized in rap.
Lil Wayne name-checked the former Brigham Young University basketball star on a new track, "Sorry 4 the Wait," which was released online last week.
On one lyric, Weezy drops this: "I got a chopper in the trimmer, shootin' like Jimmer." (A "chopper" is a gun, for those not fluent in hip-hop.)
If you listen to the rest of the track, be warned that the rest of the language wouldn't pass muster with the BYU Honor Code.
