OK, it's not exactly a "flash mob" when the people who run the location are in on it.
That doesn't make what happened this morning at Colonial Williamsburg less rousing, though.
After the regularly scheduled dramatic recitation of the Declaration of Independence at the Virginia tourist attraction, a few men started to sing "My Country 'Tis of Thee" in perfect harmony. Soon those men were joined by more men, and many women.
These men and women were fairly easy to spot in the crowd - as the YouTube video of the event shows - because they are wearing solid-color shirts and blouses. No skateboarding logos or NASCAR t-shirts in this bunch.
The singers were, as the crowd was told, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir - which stopped at Williamsburg during its current tour of the East coast.
The tourists also got to sing along with the choir for a verse of "Yankee Doodle."
