So the national news networks may be interested in Jon Huntsman, but not that interested.

This morning, as the former Utah governor and ambassador to China announced his presidential run, the three major cable news outlets went live to Huntsman's speech at New Jersey's Liberty State Park.

None of them, though, stayed on Huntsman long.

About five minutes into Huntsman's speech, CNN anchor Kyra Phillips cut away to a commercial break. Flipping over to MSNBC, anchor Chris Jansing was talking to pundits - including Utah Democratic Party head Wayne Holland - about Huntsman's politics and prospects. And Fox News was already in a commercial break.

Utah's four local news stations carried Huntsman's speech to the end, about seven minutes after CNN broke off the feed.
