If you thought you could go to a movie theater to escape the singing-and-dancing media onslaught that is "Glee," think again.

"Glee Live! 3D!" - yes, with both exclamation points - will be rolling into movie theaters on August 12, 20th Century Fox announced today.

The movie is a concert documentary, to be shot during the upcoming live tour of the "Glee" cast: Lea Michele (Rachel), Cory Monteith (Finn), Amber Riley (Mercedes), Chris Colfer (Kurt), Kevin McHale (Artie), Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina), Mark Salling (Puck), Dianna Agron (Quinn), Naya Rivera (Santana), Heather Morris (Brittany), Harry Shum, Jr. (Mike), Chord Overstreet (Sam), Darren Criss (Blaine), Ashley Fink (Lauren) and members of "The Warblers."

The North American tour starts May 21 in Las Vegas and ends June 18 in Uniondale, N.Y., before hopping the Atlantic for shows in Great Britain and Ireland. (No, the tour isn't coming to Salt Lake City.)

Kevin Tancharoen ("Fame") will direct; Ryan Murphy, the co-creator of "Glee," is one of the executive producers.
