A year ago, the Trail Blazers added former Jazz point guards Mo Williams and Earl Watson to their roster.

This summer, Portland is continuing the trend.

According to an Oregonian report, the Blazers have agreed to a non-guaranteed deal with point guard Diante Garrett.

Signed a few weeks into the 2013-14 season, Garrett established a spot for himself on the rebuilding Jazz. He appeared in 71 games, averaging 3.5 points and 1.7 assists. But the guard and his non-guaranteed deal were traded to the Toronto Raptors in July for Steve Novak. Garrett was cut by the Raptors, clearing the way
