Two-thousand kids.

Four-thousand miles.

That's what Jazz men Jeremy Evans and Ian Clark are up against as they start the team's 30th annual Junior Jazz road trip next later this month.

"Throughout the years, our players have been tremendous ambassadors for the Jazz with their participation in Junior Jazz clinics," Utah Jazz president Randy Rigby said in a news release announcing the tour. "We appreciate the support of our surrounding communities and look forward to visiting the hometowns of these Junior Jazz players for an up-close basketball experience."

Evans is a veteran of the event.

On Monday, the forward wrote on Twitter: "Rookie season, a guy told me that 5 years from then I wouldn't think about doing Jr. Jazz. He was wrong."
