Iowa State's Melvin Ejim, UConn's Niels Giffey to work out for Jazz

The NBA lottery is Tuesday night.

And as an appetizer, the Jazz are working out six guys who won't be affected by it. As with the team's two previous pre-draft workouts this summer, all six players are seniors. Only two of them are among DraftExpress.com's Top 100 players in the draft (No. 87 Melvin Ejim and No. 100 Niels Giffey).

Here's a look at who they are.

Jerrelle Benimon

Towson

6-8, 245 pounds

2013-14 averages: 18.7 ppg, 11.2 rpg, 3.6 apg

•Named CAA Player of the Year during consecutive seasons (2013, 2014).

• Led Towson in scoring, rebounding, assists, blocks and field goal percentage his senior season.

• Set a new school single-season record in rebounding in the 2013-14 season.

Sam Dower Jr.

Gonzaga

6-9, 250 pounds

2013-14 averages: 14.4 ppg, 7.2 rpg, 1.1 apg

• Helped Gonzaga to a 29-7 record as a senior and guided the team to a WCC regular season championship, WCC Tournament championship and a NCAA Tournament bid.

Melvin Ejim

Iowa State

6-6, 220 pounds

2013-14 averages: 17.8 ppg, 8.4 rpg, 1.8 apg

Highlights:

• Named the 2014 Big 12 Player of the Year by the coaches and the Associated Press

• Earned All-Big 12 First Team honors following his senior season

• Gathered All-America honors from five org anizations after the 2013-14 season

• Finalist for the Oscar Robertson Trophy following his senior campaign

• Became fourth player in league history to record 1,500 points and 1,000 rebounds in a career

• Broke the school record for games played and games started (126)

• Played for Canada in the 2013 World University Games

Niels Giffey

UConn

6-7, 204 pounds

2013-14 averages: 8.4 ppg, 3.8 rpg, .8 apg

• Helped the Huskies win two national titles during his four-year career (2011, 2014)

• Scored in double figures in 17 games as a senior for the Huskies

• Averaged 10.5 points in the Final Four en route to the 2014 National Championship

• Led the team in three-point field goal percentage and was second overall in field goal percentage for the 2013-14 season

Jake Odum

Indiana State

6-4, 180 pounds

2013-14 averages: 13.1 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 4.6 apg

• Earned All-MVC First Team honors in consecutive seasons (2013, 2014)

• Became the 35th member of the Indiana State 1,000-point club

• Recorded 175 free throws his junior season, ranking fifth on the all-time list in school history

• Named to the 2012 All-MVC Second Team

• Posted the Sycamore’s first triple-double since Larry Bird in 1979 with 10 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists during his sophomore season

• Led the MVC in steals as a freshman, averaging 1.8 per game

Scottie Wilbiken

Florida

6-2, 176 pounds

2013-14 averages: 13.1 ppg, 2.4 rpg, 3.6 apg

• Became the first Gator and the second SEC player to ever earn SEC Player of the Year, SEC Tournament MVP and NCAA South Regional Most Outstanding Player honors in one season (2014)

• Named to the All-America Third Team by the Associated Press, Sporting News and NABC

• Finished his career at Florida ranked in the top 10 in assists, steals and games played

• Selected to the SEC All-Defensive Team in consecutive seasons (2013, 2014)
