Al Jefferson said Friday that he is "weak" following a 12-hour stomach virus, but that he will play against the Nuggets in a nationally-televised game at Pepsi Center.
Jefferson missed Thursday's practice due to the virus but traveled with the team and participate in the team's shoot around.
"I'm feeling good," the Jazz center said, "a lot better. Just a little weak after yesterday. Getting my proteins back in me, I'm going to be ready for tonight."
Through five games, Jefferson averages 13.4 points and 10 rebounds for the Jazz (2-3), who play the Nuggets (2-3) at 8:30 p.m. Mountain on ESPN.
