Utah Jazz make progress in talks with Kevin Murphy

The Jazz have made progress in talks with 2012 NBA second-round pick Kevin Murphy, and Utah hopes to have the guard signed before training camp starts in October for the 2012-13 season.
Murphy was selected by the Jazz with the No. 47 overall pick in June.
Talks with Murphy began under Kevin O'Connor and have been transferred to new Utah General Manager Dennis Lindsey.
Murphy's signing would bring the Jazz's roster to 15 players, the maximum allowed by the NBA. Veteran guard Raja Bell is still under contract and has yet to accept a buyout.
