Former Jazz draftee Ante Tomic reportedly signs with Barcelona

Center Ante Tomic has reportedly signed a three-year contract with FC Barcelona that features a 2015-16 team option.
The 7-foot-2, 220-pound Croatian big man was drafted No. 44 overall by the Jazz in 2008, but never played a game for Utah.
A message left for Jazz General Manager Kevin O'Connor on Thursday was not immediately returned.
O'Connor previously said Utah was potentially interested in adding Tomic to its roster. But the Jazz had long waited for Tomic to develop, and he'd struggled to fully assert himself in international play.
Tomic averaged 6.7 points and 3.7 rebounds during 15 Euroleague games last season.
