Utah Jazz still eye NBA draft lottery but have been unable to move up

The Utah Jazz haven't lost interest in moving up in the 2012 NBA Draft and continued to talk with teams Wednesday.

However, after spending the past two weeks eyeing several big-name prospects, Utah doesn't have much "hope" of securing a favorable draft-day deal about 24 hours before the No. 1 overall selection is made.

General manager Kevin O'Connor won't make a risky trade that will set the Jazz back next season, and Utah would rather build around its current group of young talent than sell low just to move into the lottery. As a result, the Jazz were describred as being "quiet" and talking without making traction a day before the draft.
