Notes from Jazz practice Friday at the team workout facility.Utah coach Tyrone Corbin said he doesn't plan to make any significant adjustments to his team's rotation or starting lineup for Game 3.Jazz center Al Jefferson said he'd like to see Utah use its big lineup earlier in the game instead of only turning to it once the team has fallen behind. However, Jefferson acknowledged little worked for the Jazz during Games 1 and 2 against San Antonio, and he said the lone bright spot was Utah's ability to occasionally outbound the Spurs.Utah forward C.J. Miles has made significant progress in his rehab and ran Thursday without a setback. He planned to work out while the Jazz practiced Friday. Miles said he doesn't have a timetable for his return, but acknowledged he'd like to return for the end of the series if Utah can stay alive against the Spurs.Jazz guard Raja Bell said he hasn't recently spoken to Corbin about playing in the series. Bell was the only active Jazz player not to take the court in Games 1 and 2.

The Jazz rode stationary bikes and watched video of the first quarter of Game 2 before practice began Friday.Corbin on what he saw when he watched tape of Game 2: We didn't execute. We missed shots. But we really didn't execute and they took it up to another level, especially on the defensive end. They really wanted to take us out of our plays and they did a pretty good job of that. If we don't execute our sets, it makes their defense better. And as a result, their offense gets going more because they get out in transition baskets.Making changes to the Jazz's lineup: We've got to play better. We talked about rotations and changing lineups and all that. And really without playing better, it's difficult to see it. All the way across the board, we all have to play better. Why Favors' minutes have been limited: Matchups, rotations, the way the game's going. Just the way games have flowed. He's played well the minutes he's played and we look to get him on the floor more.Being in a situation where he gets to see how the Jazz respond: That's part of it. You're backed up against the wall. You've got a minimum of two games left and as many as five games left to play on. Who's going to continue to fight and who's not? That's what you want to see in these situations. It's easy to fold your tent and go home and say, 'Oh, it's too much to do.' But fight is fight and competitor's compete. Guys who want to quit will quit.

Jefferson on what the last couple days have been like for him: Just kind of block things out, because you can't really be stuck on one game. You've got to block things out and keep going. We've still got life. I've seen many teams come back being down 2-0. We've just got to be ready and be sure to get your mind together.Being frustrated during Games 1 and 2: … I know I can be better than what I've been. Just a little more frustrated, too, just with the way everything's been going on. The way we've been playing and the way things are kind of unraveling as a team. But we've been through it before many times this season. So we've just got to get out and get it together as a team, because no one man can do it on this team. We know we don't have a superstar on this team and the way we've been playing to get us to the playoffs is as a team. Jazz's floor spacing, especially in paint, was off during Games 1 and 2: Yeah. San Antonio knows our plays better than we do. They're making it very difficult to catch the ball in our spot. That's the reason why they've been there many times — many times. We've just got to step it up.Any advantage he's seen during first two games: That last game I didn't see no advantage nowhere. … I think the big lineup could hurt 'em if we get into it earlier in the game, instead of doing it when we're already down. But I ain't really seen too many [advantages]. Brian T. SmithTwitter: @tribjazz
