Jazz point guard Earl Watson suffered a "moderate" ankle sprain in the second quarter of a 120-111 loss at Phoenix on Wednesday night.
He is listed as doubtful for tonight's game against Minnesota.
After Watson's injury, the Jazz's point guard situation became more precarious when starter Devin Harris picked up his fourth foul with 10:25 left in the third quarter.
Harris went to the bench and did not return. Jamaal Tinsley played the rest of the way. He finished with 11 points and eight assists.
Former Jazz point guard Ronnie Price faced his ex-teammates for the first time during Suns' victory.
Price did not play, marking the 12th straight game going back to Feb. 15 that he failed to get minutes from coach Alvin Gentry.
Price played the last four years with the Jazz before signing with Phoenix just before the start of the season. Going into the game, he was looking forward to seeing his former teammates.
"They have made lots of changes, but I still have a lot of good friends there," Price said. "So, yeah, it will be exciting."
In particular, Price was anxious to see Jazz forwards Paul Millsap and Jeremy Evans, along with Watson.
Millsap "... is like a brother to me," said Price, who described his relationship with Evans as "very close."
Asked about Watson, who played ahead of him in last season's rotation, Price said, "He's a guy who helped me a lot. He was another guy I was able to learn from, as far as being a better person and player."
Price also had kind words for Corbin and his staff: "I'll always be pulling for those guys."
