Jazz prepare for three games in three nights

The Jazz practiced at noon on Saturday, two hours later the usual because of their late-night 101-87 loss to Oklahoma City.
Coach Tyrone Corbin and his team are scheduled to fly to Memphis later in the day to start a three-games-in-three-nights stretch against the Grizzlies on Sunday. The Jazz also play New Orleans on Monday and get a rematch with Oklahoma City on Tuesday.
The Jazz have lost three straight games, dropping to 13-12 for the season. New York, Indiana and the Thunder have all scored at least 99 points against Utah during its worst stretch of the season.
"We have to get back to the basics," Corbin said. "We have to get back to work. We can't feel sorry for ourselves. We've got to make sure we understand things we're slipping at. Our defensive efforts have been pretty consistent. But we've had lulls on both ends and it seems to happen at the same time. As a result, we don't score and the [other] team gets a run against us."
Russell Westbrook scored 28 points in Oklahoma City's win over the Jazz. He became the ninth opposing point guard to lead his team in scoring against Utah in 25 games this season.
"We're letting the guards break us down a little too much," Corbin said. "They are getting into the paint and scoring at the basket or they're collapsing the defense and swinging it out to their shooters on the perimeter. So we have to do a little better job of staying between our man and the basket and not letting guys break us down and put us in a scarmble mode. We have to clean that up."

Memphis has won two straight games heading into its second meeting of the season against the Jazz. On Jan. 6 at EnergySolutions Arena, Utah rolled to a 94-85 victory.
Once again, the Grizzlies will play without power forward Zach Randolph, who suffered a knee injury during the first week of the abbreviated 66-game season and remains sidelined.
"They are playing better," Corbin said. "They are a confident team now. They've gotten used to Zach being out of the lineup ... and Rudy Gay has gotten in better shape after being out for an extended period.
"They run a lot of pick-and-rolls. They are attacking the basket and they do a good job of passing the ball. ... They are a tough-nosed team that is going to fight you hard for every rebound."
